In April 2022, the online used car marketplace heycar partnered with insurtech leader Wrisk to launch an embedded car insurance offering – heycar motor insurance.

Using Wrisk’s unique digital first capability, customers are able to activate and update their heycar motor insurance subscription when and where they choose. Building on the successful launch of the first monthly rolling subscription insurance offered in the used car market, within just a few weeks Wrisk has supported the launch of new customer offers.

From 08 June 2022, customers buying the all-electric Renault ZOE will be able to benefit from a range of offers designed to help customers on their EV journey - the offers, pulled together in conjunction with a range of partners including Renault UK, see eligible customers able to take advantage of a free wall box car charger, two years’ of free servicing when buying on finance, and six months of free EV tailored car insurance.

Utilising the Wrisk platform and established insurer relationships, the insurance element of the campaign was able to be made live in just a few weeks, supporting heycar in offering a powerful and timely campaign whilst helping customers to feel good about their heycar purchase on the way.
