Nimeshh Patel

Nimeshh is an experienced commercially-focussed leader, with significant experience in supporting the growth of global business that have data and technology at their core. With a twenty-year track record in large corporates through to start-ups, Nimeshh brings a unique insight and extensive experience to the table, to drive Wrisk forward. 

Nimeshh is currently CEO, a position he took up in 2019 after a year in post as COO (now held by Shiv Bhaduri). He has, however, been a part of the entirety of the Wrisk journey, joining the advisory board since inception in 2016. His work with the co-founders has taken the business through the difficult COVID-19 period, resulting in exponential growth at a time in which tech companies all over the world are facing challenges. 

Nimeshh previously led strategy, sales and business operations at Buzzfeed Europe, was an early-stage executive at Drawbridge Inc, a tech startup based in Silicon Valley (sold to  LinkedIn), and was COO at AOL Europe. Across these roles, Nimeshh gained valuable experience in scaling small to mid-stage technology businesses. Other notable roles include Lead Equities Analyst, Telecoms at ABN AMRO Investment Bank and Aircraft Design Engineer at British Aerospace.

He possesses both an M-Eng qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration (distinction) from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.
