We're delighted to announce, Allianz Partners, with its business line Allianz Automotive, has signed a partnership agreement with Wrisk. Allianz Automotive focuses on the global insurance needs of car manufacturers’ customers and is the partner of choice for over 40 automotive brands.
- Allianz and Wrisk are committed to jointly modernising car insurance
- Digital experience to meet current need to simplify customer journeys
- Mobile platform provides flexible and transparent insurance solutions
The partnership will aim to jointly offer new automotive insurance products on Wrisk’s end-to-end insurance platform, which will be delivered via car manufacturers at the point of sale. The new collaboration brings together the capabilities of Allianz and the platform solutions of Wrisk.
We had the opportunity to share the news first at the Digital Insurance Agenda (DIA) event in Amsterdam on 25 June. Wrisk took to the stage with Allianz Automotive, alongside existing partners, BMW, the RAC and Munich Re, in an open discussion on what makes a successful partnership between a start-up and corporate. DIA Amsterdam is one of the world’s largest insurtech conferences, with over 1200 attendees.
Stephan Ruby, Chief Sales Officer of Allianz Automotive, commented: “The partnership will be a catalyser for digitalisation and simplicity. For Allianz Automotive, partnering with an InsurTech like Wrisk gives a tremendous opportunity to offer customer-centric solutions in a transparent and simple way, which is in line with the overall Allianz strategy.”
The new partnership with Allianz Automotive is another example of a strategic relationship, where Wrisk is seeking to work with B2B2C organisations who are looking for innovative, customer-first insurance solutions.
“We’re big believers in the insurance industry’s potential for innovation. Working with Allianz Automotive has been really rewarding thanks to their agility and commitment to deliver radically improved solutions for customers. This is a prime example of Wrisk's strategy to develop collaborations with global insurers who have particular dominance in vertical sectors, where together we can unlock new opportunities for them and their B2B2C partners through a mobile-first, connected customer experience.” Niall Barton, CEO and Co-Founder of Wrisk
The partnership will initially focus on the UK market. It will further set up the two companies to deliver next-generation car insurance products with agile, on-demand solutions providing the foundation for insurance that will meet the challenges of the future of mobility.
